- Use a special seating arrangement so that the student is seated close to the teacher.
- Make eye contact with the student as often as possible.
- Minimize the noise of the classroom as much as possible.
- Avoid talking to the students while writing on the blackboard.
- Gain student's attention before presenting auditory information. Restate directions and also what other students say for clarification.
